Spanish Rice Skillet

1 pound ground beef

3 slices, bacon, chopped

1/2 cup chopped onion

1/4 cup chopped green pepper

1 16-ounce can tomatoes, cut up

2 cups water

1 cup long grain rice

1/2 cup chili sauce

1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce

In skillet cook ground beef, bacon, onion, and green pepper till meat is browned and vegetables are tender. Drain off fat. Stir in undrained tomatoes, water, uncooked rice, chili sauce, worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 25 to 30 minutes or till liquid is absorbed and rice is tender. Makes 6 servings.
