German Chocolate Icing

1 C. evaporated milk 1 C. sugar 3 egg yolks, slightly beaten 1/2 c. butter or margarine 1 tsp. vanilla 1 1/2 C. coconut 1 C. pecans Mix first 5 ingredients and boil until thickened. Add coconut and nuts. Great on German Chocolate Cake or Oatmeal Cake.

Cream Cheese Icing

1 stick butter or margarine 1-8 oz. pkg. cream cheese 1 lb. powdered sugar 1/2 tsp. vanilla butternut flavor 1 C. pecans (optional) Cream butter and cream cheese; add sugar, vanilla and pecans. Great on Carrot Cake.

Chocolate Frosting

1 stick butter or margarine 4 T. cocoa 5 T. milk 1 box powdered sugar (1 lb.) 1 tsp. vanilla Cream together well. Frosts 2 – 8 or 9″ cakes or 1 – 13×9″ cake.

Caramel Icing

1 lb. butter or margarine 2 lb. brown sugar 2 C. water 2 lb. powdered sugar 2 tsp. maple flavor Melt butter, add sugar and water; boil 8 to 10 minutes. Cool. Beat in powdered sugar and flavor. Good on cinnamon rolls and cakes. Keeps well in refrigerator. Reheat before using, add a little water.
